رابطه انگ اجتماعی و سبک زندگی در افراد مبتلا به صرع

مقدمه: صرع یکی از شایعترین بیماریهای جدی مغزی است. در حدود 50 میلیون نفر از مردم جهان به صرع مبتلا هستند. صرع یک تشخیص پزشکی–اجتماعی است. یکی از مهمترین مسائلی که بیماران مصروع با آن مواجه هستند انگِ مرتبط با این بیماری است که از مفاهیم اجتماعی میباشد و تاثیر عمدهای بر کیفیت زندگی افرادِ مصروع میگذارد. همچنین سبک زندگیِ مرتبط با سلامت در سیر بیماریهای مزمن نقش تعیین کنندهای ایفا میکند. سبک زندگی سالم علاوه بر تداوم و تقویت سطح سلامت و رفاه باعث احساس رضایت، عزت نفس و خودشکوفایی میشود. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی رابطه انگ اجتماعی و سبک زندگی در افراد مبتلا به صرع است. روش: پژوهش حاضر از نوع مطالعات پیمایشی–همبستگی (مقطعی) است که رابطهی انگ اجتماعی و سبک زندگی در افراد مبتلا به صرع را مورد مطالعه قرار میدهد. جامعهی آماری پژوهش کلیهی بزرگسالان مراجعه کننده به انجمن صرع ایران و درمانگاه صرع بیمارستان امام حسین شهر تهران میباشند. در این پژوهش روش نمونهگیری مبتنی بر هدف بکار گرفته شده است. حجم نمونه بر اساس فرمول مطالعات هم بستگی 123 نفر محاسبه گردید. ابزارهای مورد استفاده در پژوهش حاضر چک لیست مشخصات دموگرافیک، مقیاس انگ اجتماعی در افراد مبتلا به صرع و زیر مقیاس سبک زندگی در افراد مبتلا به صرع می باشد. نتایج: نتایج پژوهش نشان میدهد که بین زنان و مردان مبتلا به صرع از نظر سطح انگ اجتماعی و سبک زندگی تفاوت معناداری وجود ندارد. همچنین بین انگ اجتماعی و سبک زندگی در افراد مبتلا به صرع ارتباط معکوسِ معنادار مشاهده شد (001/0>p ). بحث و نتیجهگیری: میتوان نتیجه گرفت در یک ارتباط معکوس دوسویه، کاهش انگ اجتماعی به ارتقاء سبک زندگی، و ارتقاءِ سبک زندگی به کاهش سطح انگ اجتماعی در زنان و مردان مبتلا به صرع میانجامد. کاهش انگ اجتماعی و ارتقاء سبک زندگی در بیماران مبتلا به صرع کیفیت زندگی مرتبط با سلامت را در آنها بهبود خواهد بخشید.
Introduction: Epilepsy is the most common serious neurological disorder worldwide, affecting about 50 million people. Epilepsy is not just a clinical disorder but a social label. One of the most important problem impact people with epilepsy is related stigma of this condition. In the other hand health related life style is a factor in procedure of chronic illnesses. Continues and reinforcement of well-being and welfare, satisfaction, self–esteem and self-actualization are the effects of life healthy life style. The object of this study is investigating the relationship between social stigma and life style in people with epilepsy. Methodology: Current study is a correlational survey (cross sectional) which investigates the relationship between social stigma and life style. Among all of people with epilepsy referred to Emam Hossein Epilepsy Clinic and Iranian Society Association, 123 patients were selected based on purposive sampling. Data were collected by demographic check list, epilepsy stigma scale and epilepsy life style subscale. Results: The results of this study showed that there is no difference between men and women with epilepsy in the social stigma and life style. Also there is a meaningful relationship between social stigma and life style in people with epilepsy (p < 0/001). Conclusions: In a negative bivariate correlation we can found that effective interventions in reducing social stigma lead to increasing life style among men and women in epilepsy, and effective interventions in increasing lifestyle leads to reducing social stigma in these patients. Both reducing social stigma and increasing life style leads to improving their health related quality of life.
