Methods: This study was conducted with a correlational method. The study population included all mothers of elementary male students with a reading disorder in Tabriz in the academic year 2014-2015. Using random sampling with reference to Morgans table 162 subjects were selected. Data were collected through mother-child interaction checklist religious coping questionnaire (RCOPE). Results: Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and Stepwise multiple regression method. Results showed that the correlation between positive and negative religious coping strategies and quality of mother-child interaction were 0.58 and -0.21 respectively (P<0.001). Results of the regression method showed that negative religious coping strategy and positive religious coping strategy could predict 37 percent of the variance of quality of mother-child interaction. However, psychological hardiness could not significantly predict the quality of mother-child interaction. Conclusions: Therefore, it could be concluded that religious coping strategies hence have an important role in the quality of mother-child interaction. M3 ER -
