Introduction: Marital unfaithfulness is a terrible issue for the couples and families; and it is a painful phenomenal in couples relationship. The purpose of this article is to discover the difference of the quality of love and sexual satisfaction among committed and uncommitted married men. Methods: This study was a descriptive-comparative research. As the sample of this research, two-hundred married men who were attended to counseling and social work clinics due to marital problems; were randomly selected and assigned to two loyal and unfaithful groups (each group hundred men) by cluster sampling method. Two questionnaires including; Larson Sexual Satisfaction Scale (twenty-five items) and Sternberg Quality of Love questionnaire (forty-five items) were used as data collecting tools. Results: The results indicated that there was a significant difference between the quality of love and sexual satisfaction in loyal and unfaithful married men.(P<0.05) Conclusions: Finding showed that men who benefit less from dimensions of love and have lower degree of sexual satisfaction, are more probable to had unfaithful relationship. The findings also revealed that the quality of love and sex satisfaction were playing key role in couples relationships. Therefore, it seems these variables are essential one to be investigate by marital counselors and therapists to help the couples with loyalty issue.
