Introduction: Organ donation is the donation of life to fellow human beings, and social support plays an essential role in acculturalization. Therefore, this study was to determine the effect of social support components in explaining attitudes toward organ donation. Methods: The research method is the analysis of the correlation type. This study was performed on three-hundred-sixty individuals with organ donation cards residing in the northwestern provinces of Iran includes Zanjan, Ardabil, and East-West Azerbaijan, which were selected by simple random sampling in 2019. Inorder to gather the data, the organ donation attitude questionnaire of Tihana et al. and Gasemipor and Ganje social protection questionnaire were used. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlational coefficient and bootstrap through software SPSS Amos22 at the level of P<0.05. Results: The results indicated that the model was fitted, and there was a direct relationship between emotional support, information support, and instrumental support toward attitude with organ donation were significant. The indirect relationship of information support, and Instrumental support with mediating components of emotional support were significant.(P<0/05) Conclusions: According to the findings of the study, it seems that by creating a culture of social support in society, through individual and group training by health planners, it is possible to inhance the positive attitude of people towards organ donation and eliminate the need for organ transplantation.
