Introduction: Social-emotional development is one of the major domains of human development. The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the Social-Emotional Development Enhancement Toolkit on empowerment, safety, self-confidence, and coping skills among adolescents aged thirteen to fifteen years.

Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest assessments and a forty-five-day follow-up. The study population consisted of all adolescents aged thirteen to fifteen years who referred to counseling centers in Isfahan during the spring of 2024. Forty adolescents were selected through convenience sampling, with twenty participants in each group, and were randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups. The experimental group received ten sixty-minute sessions using the Social-Emotional Development Enhancement Toolkit, whereas the control group received no training. The research instruments included questionnaires assessing empowerment, safety, self-confidence, and coping skills. The data were analyzed using repeated-measures analysis of variance with SPSS26 statistical software.

Results: The findings indicated that the Social-Emotional Development Enhancement Toolkit intervention had a significant effect on empowerment, safety, self-confidence, and problem-focused coping skills among adolescents aged thirteen to fifteen years.

Conclusions: The Social-Emotional Development Enhancement Toolkit intervention may contribute to promoting positive behaviors among adolescents.
